After years of dreaming and yearning, last September 27 to October 15, my husband, daughter and I finally had a chance to see Eastern Europe. We left a day before the feast day of San Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint. San Lorenzo is our family’s foremost “patron” in Heaven.
