Hello! How's your day? I hope it's a bit better than ordinary.
I'd like to share with you this powerful "Prayer for Protection", a full copy of which could be found in the followwing address:

(I don't know the blog owner, but this blog comes up when I google a phrase of the prayer.)
I find this prayer most helpful and energizing. Lately I've taken to saying it in the morning, upon arising, after saying short dedication prayers to our Father.
This, along with doing our Christian duties and obligations (monthly confessions and Sunday Masses if you're Catholic), will certainly give you the strength to combat temptations.
There will be days, though, that you might be tempted not to say the prayer because you're running late or whatever; that's just SOP for the baddies. Don't let them get to you, ok?
Stay strong & God bless you! :)

Be dedicated by: Anonymous
I have thought long and hard on your problem. You see, my son has the same problem but he does not want to stop and have the thorn removed; he thinks it is the right thing for him.
What I cannot advise him on, because he is not a Christian (not my fault), I can definitely advise you. Something or someone that is dedicated to God, is not something or someone to be trifled with. All you have to do, dear friend, is to dedicate yourself to God. Do it every morning soon as you wake up. Say, "I dedicate this new day to God and I rededicate myself to God". Do it every day and every time you feel the urge to give in to your weakness. In time you will realize just how much God is helping you to overcome. You see for God, some one dedicated to him, is serious business.
We, as baptized children of God are anointed ones; anointed by his Spirit and in 1 Chronicles 16:22, God warns, "Touch not mine anointed ...." In our case, this would be a warning to the evil one who may think he has a hold over you. Read through the word and you will see how God dealt with the enemies of his people - you will realize how God will help you. Trust Him. He is holding you fast in the hollow of his hand.
