I have been living in Canada now for last 4years as a student. I got married last year and now have a baby girl who is now 6months and 2weeks. I applied for my permanent residency 2 years ago and have not gotten any response form immigration. My husband’s visa application was rejected so he has not seen our baby till now.
However I recently undated my PR application with my husbands and daughters information, although my daughter gets automatic citizenship I am still left without a resident permit and my husband cannot come see our daughter. Most critically my study permit will be expiring come November 2012. Been without a PR status means I can get a work permit and other benefits.
Despite a master’s degree in organizational communication I am on able to get a job not even a call to interview. It is possible I am not getting any call backs because I have refused to lie on my application about my immigration status.
It is my earnest desire that my family be united again through us (my husband & I) getting our permanent residency and that u gain employment so I can be self-sufficient financially and have an abundance to meet all of my needs and those of my family, with enough left over to give generously to others.
