Confession

QUESTION: Do you need to reconfess a sin that was not confessed

properly or poorly in a prior confession? Sometimes
I feel that I need to reconfess because my prior
confession were too vague or incomplete. Thank you

ANSWER: It is best to be very specific and clear during confession. The more important factor, though, is that you are truly sorry for your sins during confession. If you are truly sorry for your sins, and you ask God for forgiveness for these during your confession, then your confession would have been "successful."

If in doubt, though, there is nothing wrong with "re-confessing" your sin during your next confession - if only to grant you inner peace.
