Dolores' Final Blessing

by Paul Magnaterra
(Timonium, MD USA)

My wife Dolores was ill for 14 years, 5 months, 12 hours & 49 minutes.

On November 15, 2008, Dolores was on her death bed, our Parish Priest Father Sal from Saint Leo's RC Church in "Little Italy", came by and said: "Paul, do you mind if I give Dolores her last rights?" I said, "You bet."

Father Sal started at 12:05 and finished at 12:40pm. I walked Father to the elevator and heard from my daughter Regina: "my Mom just died..." It was 12:49pm, 9 miniutes after Father Sal gave Dolores her ticket to HEAVEN.

Now we both were born next to each other 1930, and
married 6/25/1950. We were Baptized on the same day at Saint Leo's and Dolores got the last right from our priest Father Sal, frome Saint Leo's. The START & THE END.

Now, being alone is very hard so, I go to Mass each day and pray that maybe I will get the same BLESSING from Our Lord.

That's great that your wife was blessed before death and I'm sure she is waiting for you there. You'll meet her someday.
