Eulogies

QUESTION: When are Eulogies allowed at Rite of Christian Burial services?

ANSWER: Eulogies are usually not encouraged during Christian burial services, since sometimes it detracts focus from the center of the ceremony: the Mass and the burial service itself. However, in certain occasions, it may be allowed upon approval of the presiding Catholic priest.
