Holy rosary & adoration

(Abuja, Nigeria)

QUESTION: i am an anglican but i beleive and practise some catholic doctrines which i am convinced are true, helpful to my faith and biblical. i have a question each on 2 of these doctrines. Holy rosary - i have been praying the Holy Rosary daily but i wnat to be sure that how i pray the Rosary is right. because i pray the Rosary alone i do so using the second person singular, that is replacing "we", "us", "our" with "I", "me" and "my". Is this right or do i need to pray the Rosary as it is written using collective nouns? please advise me.

ANSWER: We suggest you use the same prescribed terms (collective nouns) so we are consistent with the formula of the prayer as handed down to us.

QUESTION: Adoration - i understand this to mean being in the presence of Jesus in the altar for 1 hour. can i do this privately in my personal alter and what kind of prayer do i recite during adoration?

ANSWER: "We recommend you spend time in the adoration chapel itself in front of the Real Presence of the Eucharist, that is, the consecrated Eucharistic host. The value and graces derived from staying in front of Jesus in the Adoration Chapel is infinitely higher than prayer in front of an altar we have at home."
