I want to talk and at least be friends with him.

My boyfriend and I have been best friends for almost 4 years and dating for 2 and a half years. We were talking about marriage and he was not 100% for it, but was getting there.

Completely out of the blue he broke up with me in an email and said it would not work out and he has not replied to my emails or phone calls since.

It has been almost 3 weeks and I really want it to work out, but it feels like he has completely removed me from his life. Will we ever at least be friends? I do not want to cut off such an important part of my life.
