reconciliation

I said something very offensive toward a person so close and dear to me. Though he has forgiven me but I deeply regret what i have done and said. Now our relationship is over and no more love between us.

the process of reconciliation NEW
by: adrian

Forgiveness is the first stage in a process of healing that may take time, a lot of time. People have to get over the hurt of being injured. That includes the offender who is injured by shame .Let both parties pray for one another, and ask God to engineer a trigger that will bring the parties together, with or without a reference to the offending event. Often such a post-mortem is not necessary or advisable. Sometimes the process has been completed in the absence of one another, and both parties are waiting for an opportunity to reestablish contact and resume from where they left off. Confession may need to be part of the private process of getting over the hurt.
